At dusk in Brighton Marina the IUR confused, bemused
and stimulated the general public at the"Fiery Food" launch
party. Luciana Haill, Head of Neurofeedback provided interactive 'Death
Chilli' EEG on the sublime 24 metres square video wall provided by Phillips.
The volunteer's peaks of pain activated sounds played to the audience
through the entertainment PA system. In contrast, chocolate and champagne
were also evaluated first for brainwave stimulating powers for all to
see first.. sounds much more pleasant.
The Director of The IUR Anna Dumitriu, showed in
much detail the friendly microscopic bacteria on the foods everyone
was busy sampling, even the chocolate. In the creative cocktail laboratory
Ollie Glass was designing the ultimate cocktail with his Artificial
Intelligence programme EVO and some more volunteers assisting with its
feedback.
